Mission Control Reading Paths
Mission Control stores more than lore. It is the public archive that explains why CT-03 cannot be treated as a ready-made home, why CRADLE-0 must be audited, why every Operator receives a responsibility zone rather than a property claim, and why seasons become planet history instead of reward calendars.
This page is the recommended entry point for readers who need a route through the archive.
New Operator Path
Start here if the reader needs the basic frame.
- About
- Last Cradle / CT-03
- Seed Ark Systems
- CRADLE-0 Authority
- Cradle Operator
- The First Generation
This path should answer five questions: what Last Cradle is, why Earth was not simply abandoned, what the Seed Ark carried, what CRADLE-0 can and cannot decide, and why the First Generation has not inherited an ordinary colony.
Demo Path
Use this path when explaining the playable loop.
- Dry Basin
- Embryo Vault Protection
- Building System Briefing
- Main Story 02: First Oasis
- Seedfall
- The First Water
This route connects sector assignment, survival infrastructure, embryo protection, water treatment, and the first controlled oasis. It should support screenshots, Demo mission cards, and Steam copy that focuses on one visible consequence.
Use this path before writing store copy, tutorial overlays, or Demo screenshots. It keeps the first playable promise specific: build a minimal foothold, keep the Embryo Vault viable, and prepare the Artificial Womb Center without pretending CT-03 is already safe.
World Path
Use this path when the reader needs the larger canon.
- Earth Departure
- Cradle Initiative
- Timeline
- Global Terraforming
- Main Story 06: Second Civilization
The world path should keep the project away from common drift: Earth was not destroyed, CT-03 is not a paradise, and the Initiative is a civilization backup rather than a conquest fleet.
Season Path
Use this path when explaining live or staged content.
- Season 01: First Oasis
- Season 01: Oasis Link Protocol
- Worldline Summary: Season 01
- First Oasis Briefing
- Water Allocation Front
A season must leave a trace. It should change at least one global indicator, one public record, one faction argument, and one later mission premise.
Faction Path
Use this path when explaining route disagreement.
- Cradle Authority
- Terraform Union
- Native Balance Institute
- Free Settlers
- Archive Church
- Silent Core
Factions are not morality teams. Each one has a real problem to solve, an operational contribution, and a failure mode. The archive should always show both.
Facility Path
Use this path when the reader needs the systems behind the Demo and later global engineering.
- Seed Ark Systems
- Embryo Vault Protection
- CRADLE-0 Authority
- Building System Briefing
- AI Confidence Models
- Hydrological Cycle
- Trace Life Containment
The facility path is the bridge between worldbuilding and player action. It should explain inputs, outputs, failure modes, and why an apparently technical decision can become a public dispute.
Editorial Rule
When adding a new archive entry, place it in at least one path before publishing it. If it cannot support a new Operator, the Demo loop, the world canon, a season, a faction dispute, a main story package, a region package, or a visual archive target, it is probably not ready.
